Gravel and Sand Bags in Vancouver
We offer various types of gravel and sand packed in bags for sale and pickup or delivery in Metro Vancouver and Fraser valley including Hope, Chilliwack, Mission, Abbotsford, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Burnaby, New Westminster, Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver. This example photo below shows about 25 bags filled with 3/4" gravel. Contact us to confirm availability and for ordering instructions.
Check this video for an indication of what to expect from a single bag of 3/4" gravel. Volume may differ slightly between bags. One half of a cubic yard of gravel or sand fit nicely into approximately 22-25 bags. Here is another video showing typical content of 1/2" gravel bag.

Applications for Gravel and Sand Bags
You can use gravel and sand in numerous applications, including:
- Use round or crushed rock gravel for drainage projects. Make water disappear through openings between individual small rocks.
- Making paths, walkways, roads, etc. Maintaining and improving existing paths and roads.
- Gardening projects.
- Farming projects.
- Landscape feature designs. For example, making a waterfall feature may require using crushed stone gravel and river pebbles.
- Using small gravel as drainage media in hydroponic gardens in hydroponics or horticulture applications.
- Using sand to make new or improve existing beaches.
- Using sand as filtering material, for example in septic field applications or similar.
- Using as ballast in cars and trucks, for example in winter to improve tire traction.
- Using as ballast in construction, road maintenance projects, traffic control.
- Use sand as add on to make concrete or improve soil.
- Use sandbags to redirect flood water away from property (flood control). Note: For flood control application you normally use partially filled sand bags. Our sand bags are mostly full. We can either custom-make partially filled sandbags or supply you with some empty bags.
