Firewood Bundles for Sale in Vancouver

If you need firewood for a campfire, to warm up a house using fireplace, or as a fuel source for your Solo stove while hiking in the North Shore mountains, we may have you covered!

We occasionally offer seasoned firewood bundles for sale and pickup or delivery in Metro Vancouver and Fraser valley including Hope, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Surrey, Langley, New Westminster, Burnaby, Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver. The top photo below shows currently available bundles. Other photos below show our previously sold batches of firewood.

Some bundles include very dry and thin pieces for quick start of a fire. Size of these campfire bundles is basically what fits into a bucket, slightly expanded for stability by putting additional smaller pieces for quick start of fire. See this video of how they normally perform in a fireplace.

Note that we only sell individual bundles, NO large volume firewood sales or deliveries (cords).

Firewood Preparation

Our firewood preparation process roughly looks like the following:

• Tree trunks and large branches are cut into manageable pieces, such that can be lifted by one person. We aim at having them 16 inches long, on average. However, it is difficult to accomplish with large parts of tree trunks, which are close to the root, due to their weight. As a result, some logs may be shorter than 16 inches, but some longer.
• Then they are split into individual firewood logs.
• Firewood is then stacked for seasoning (drying) process, which reduces moisture content in the wood and makes it better prepared for burning. To accelerate this process, we may also remove bark on some logs, but some logs may be left with bark on.
• When firewood is ready to burn, we bundle it and make available for pickup or delivery.

Types of Firewood

We are often asked which tree type is our firewood made of. The answer is: different types, depending on what we can source. Sometimes it is birch, other times fir, spruce, pine, cedar, maple, aspen, or other varieties. When bundling firewood together we often use different types of wood in one bundle to achieve consistent burning performance between bundles.

Firewood Delivery

You can either pick up your firewood in North Vancouver or have it delivered. We normally do deliveries twice a week. Current delivery charges are listed below.
